LIVING WITH PURPOSE.
From the Battlefield to a Life of Boundless Gratitude.
The Narrative :
Hi, I’m Mark Green. My life has been built around service, discipline, and learning what it means to live with purpose.
For more than thirty years, I wore the uniform of the United States Army. I served in active duty with the 82nd Airborne, commanded troops in high-stakes environments, and retired as a Lieutenant Colonel. That experience forged me. It taught me that leadership is not a rank; it is an honor and responsibility to accept in the service of others.
Even before retiring, I didn’t stop. I earned my law degree (J.D.) and a Master of Arts, seeking to understand the systems that govern our society.
THE AWAKENING ON I-66
But my path wasn’t always straight. In fact, it began in chaos.
One day as a teenager, I found myself face down on the median of Interstate 66. I was young, reckless, and lost. I had climbed into a car with friends who were drunk after school, leading to a high-speed chase that ended in the driver being arrested and me almost losing my life. Lying there on the bubbling hot oil and gravel in the hot summer heat on the shoulder, watching State Troopers sort it out and arrest the driver, I felt the cold weight of reality that life has to change..
I was alive. But I wasn’t living. My environment was pulling me in the wrong direction.
That moment on the asphalt was the beginning of my reckoning. It was a spiritual wake-up call. I realized that the roads you take and the choices you make matter. I realized that I had been spared for a reason. My higher purpose began to emerge over the next few years.
The Scholar Warrior
That second chance set me on a path of rigorous self-improvement in the years ahead. A shift away from that environment led to years of achievement, yet something was still missing. I explored everything from extreme discipline of the military service and martial arts to becoming a pioneer of a team fighting for Olympic spots. Relationships soured and countless restarts left me without structure.
The adversity of life had its grip and would not let go. Then something changed. I spent years studying goal setting, working, studying and participating as support staff under the likes of Jack Canfield where I was certified and learned the Success Principles. I studied positive mental attitudes of the world’s best, and the real breakthroughs came from studying from books on success and finance that were published hundreds of years ago from around the world. Through a meditation, I felt drawn to a tree that took me deeper into the spiritual laws of finance and mindset. The tree became a place that collects the simplicity and secrets of abundance through step-by-step self-improvement in mindset and money.
I realized that the information I gathered on overcoming adversity, fostering abundance, and improving finances gave me the ability to guide others to the same. Being stuck is the worst feeling ever, but the discipline of persistence opens doors.
THE MISSION TODAY
But my mission extends to you, too. Whether you are a veteran transitioning to civilian life, an entrepreneur or executive burnt out by the hustle, or a leader seeking a deeper current, I am here to offer you the map as I too have experienced being stuck or frustrated. Resets are welcomed.
Everything I teach comes back to one idea: true success is about alignment. When your values, your vision, and your actions work together, you create freedom, not just for yourself, but for everyone you serve. It is not selfish to want more, it comes from gratitude.
So if you’re ready to lead with purpose, to find peace after pressure, and to build prosperity that lasts, welcome. You’re in the right place.
